“Because it is urgent. Every week we wait, more and more people are being killed on the battlefield in Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said.
He clarified that it was not his place to advise Congress on anything, but a military aid package for Ukraine is an urgent need that must be addressed.

Talking about NATO, it appears Mark Rutte is the favourite to take over from Stoltenberg this year. I have nothing against Rutte, the Dutch have provided a lot of aid to Ukraine, but do we need another politician without any military experience, leading a military alliance?
We need Wesley Clark or Wicker, not a pussy. Ukraine also needs Poroshenko and Zaluzhny. We need to throw all we got at the invaders. Hezitation will only waste men and resources to no avail.
