The United States will continue its efforts to support Ukraine’s ability to resist Russian invasion.
The White House condemned Russia’s massive missile attack on Ukraine, in particular on the Okhmatdet children’s hospital in Kyiv.
“Today’s horrific attack on Ukraine, in particular on a children’s hospital, proves the terrible price of Russian aggression that leader Vladimir Putin is willing to pay in his war,” Michael Carpenter, director for European affairs at the US National Security Council, said at a briefing in Washington, according to European Pravda.
“The attack on the maternity hospital, as well as the children’s hospital, is unfortunately not the first time that this has happened during a war,” the White House official added.
Carpenter pledged that the United States would continue to work to bolster Ukraine’s ability to resist a Russian invasion. He expects steps to be announced at a NATO summit this week to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses to help prevent such attacks.

How about stating that “US wants Ukraine to win and to restore the rules based international order?” Or will SCOTUS rule that Putin is immune from prosecution for crimes that are blatant enough?
Don’t let your political bias cloud your logic. The SCOTUS doesn’t decide international cases, that would be the ICC. If you were trying to be funny, perhaps today isn’t a good time for it after two hospitals were bombed by ruSSo-nazis.

Hot air never won a war. How about giving Ukraine some missiles to actually win? How many more hospitals need destroying before the bumbling fool gives Ukraine the go-ahead to strike into russia?
Yeah, if killing children in hospitals doesn’t make you want to take the gloves off, nothing will.
It appears that Kirby said just that. The situation regarding Ukraine striking into russia with US weapons has not changed. Give me strength!
This would be a good time for our media and politicians to follow Mahatma Gandhi who once said, “the true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members.”
How about saying something that’s not equivalent to excrement? How about lifting the stupid, cowardly, inhumane ban on striking the terrorist federation where it hurts? How about declaring the sending of Tomahawk cruise missiles so that Ukraine can level the kremlin? How about announcing the desire to hand mafia land a complete military defeat?
The Yellow House disgusts me to no end.
After seeing ten years of death in Ukraine, Biden’s calculus still hasn’t changed. From “there is no military solution” to ten years later, “Ukraine has everything it needs to resist.”
Also, didn’t Biden just say this week “I stopped putin!” Well, looks like the president has egg on his face again.
He meant he stopped the Easter Bunny from escaping with his chocolate eggs.
