For the third time in a week, the state publishing house “Belarusian Press House” did not publish the latest issue of the non-state newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in Belarus. This was reported by Euroradio and Radio Liberty .
According to the newspaper, the printing house also did not publish the issue of another non-state newspaper, Narodnaya Volya. A broken machine was allegedly the cause, writes “Euroradio”.
For Komsomolskaya Pravda, this is the third issue in a week, which is not printed by the Belarusian Press House. Prior to that, they refused to print the issue of August 18 (the cover had a photo of the 200,000th Freedom March in Minsk). Then the editorial office found another printing house, the issue hit the kiosks with a delay. The issue of August 20 was not published in the “Belarusian House of Press” either (on the cover was a photo of a rally in Grodno, where the authorities promised to make concessions to the protesters).
What photo was placed on the cover of the third issue of Komsomolskaya Pravda, which did not appear in print, is not reported.
On August 15, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” put on the cover of the new issue photos of people who were beaten in the detention center on Akrestsin Street after the dispersal of the protest rallies. They were accompanied by the phrase of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Alyaksandr Barsukov that “there was no bullying at Akrestsin Street”. As Radio Svoboda writes , this was the last issue of Komsomolskaya Pravda in Belarus, published by the Belarusian Press House. Some readers bought up several copies of the newspaper to distribute to people on the streets.

Komsomolskaya Pravda is one of the most popular newspapers in Belarus. Its paper version is published four (according to other sources, five ) times a week with a circulation of 30-35 copies, an entertaining weekly has a circulation of 200-250 thousand copies.
Narodnaya Volya is one of the oldest opposition newspapers in Belarus, founded in 1995. It is published twice a week with a circulation of 25 thousand copies.
