The Russian spring offensive is gradually losing intensity, and in some areas the occupation troops are forced to retreat under pressure from the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine record a decrease in the effectiveness of attacks despite their high number. The most noticeable changes are observed in the Lymansky, Kupyansky and Velyky Burlutsky directions.
However, the overall effectiveness of their actions has significantly decreased, said Viktor Tregubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Currently, the ratio between the number of attacks and the enemy’s actual territorial gains has deteriorated sharply.
In the Lymansky and Kupyansky directions, attempts by the Russian army to advance are not yielding results. In the Velyky Burlutsky direction, Russian units are already forced to retreat.

The situation on the left bank of the Oskol River remains tense, but the enemy has not managed to create any critical threats to Ukrainian forces. At the same time, there are certain difficulties with logistics and personnel in the Defense Forces.
On the right bank of the Oskol, Ukrainian troops have pushed back the enemy, and he has no opportunity to gain a foothold in the Golubivka area. Russian units are now focused on trying to maintain pressure on the northern outskirts of the settlement.

Tregubov also noted that the most active attempts by Russian forces to “probe” the northern border are being recorded in the Sumy region, as well as in the area near Vovchansk, where constant combat clashes continue without significant successes for the Russian Federation.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Russia is growing concerned about the situation on the southern front in the occupied regions of Ukraine. Russian military bloggers are increasingly declaring the threat of the Russian group being effectively cut off in the south due to Ukrainian drone strikes on logistics and breakthroughs in certain sections of the front. Against this background, Western analysts are already talking about a “new phase of the war”, in which Ukraine is gradually seizing the strategic initiative.

The retreat of the cockroach army will expand and accelerate if the AFU can maintain and increase the pounding of the enemy’s logistic system. Let’s hope this will happen. So far, it’s looking quite positive.
