Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak reported on the improvement of the situation in the fuel market.

A number of Russian regions have begun lifting restrictions on fuel sales at gas stations, as Ukrainian strikes on refineries have stopped , The Moscow Times reports .

During October, free sales of gasoline were resumed in 15 Russian regions. These include Ryazan, Lipetsk, Kostroma, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, and Tomsk regions, as well as the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories.

Restrictions on fuel sales were also lifted in occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, where one of the most difficult situations with gasoline supply was previously observed.

At the same time, restrictions on fuel sales continue to apply in some Russian regions. In particular, in the Tambov region, limits on the amount of gasoline that can be sold to one person are still in effect, as well as a ban on refueling in canisters.

Fuel supply problems are also being reported in some areas of the Leningrad Region. In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, some gas stations continue to impose restrictions on the amount of gasoline that can be purchased at one fill-up.

On October 28, AI-92 gasoline was available at 42% of Russian gas stations, AI-95 at 34%, and diesel at 37%. High-octane brands were much less available: AI-98 was sold at only 1% of gas stations, and AI-100 at 3%.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak reported on the improvement of the situation on the fuel market. According to him, this is due to the completion of repair work at refineries and the strengthening of their protection.

A drop in prices for Russian gasoline was also recorded.

Between October 20 and 26, Rosstat recorded a decrease in 57 regions of the country. The most significant fuel price decrease was in Kamchatka Krai – by 12.6%, and Ivanovo Oblast – by 11.4%. On average, gasoline in Russia cost 98.4 rubles ($1.22) per liter, while the price of diesel fuel reached 100 rubles ($1.24) per liter.

According to Russian analysts, from October 19 to 26, the price of AI-95 decreased by 1.33 rubles ($0.02), to 77.51 rubles ($0.96), and AI-92 by 1.54 rubles ($0.02), to 72.48 rubles ($0.90). Diesel fuel fell by 0.05 rubles (less than 0.01), to 82.87 rubles ($1.03) per liter.

At the same time, experts do not predict a significant reduction in fuel prices for consumers in the near future, emphasizing that this is now a new baseline.
