But all this does not prevent the Russian Federation from advancing. DeepState reported that in June the aggressor occupied 556 km² of Ukrainian territory, more than a quarter of them in the Pokrov direction . Filimonov emphasizes that the Russians manage to find new victims, whom they “throw into the furnace.”

Ukraine can only counter with drones, minefields and trained units. But the adaptation of the Russian army and the difficulty of maintaining logistics under constant drone strikes complicate the work. And despite the fact that so far all enemy DRGs that penetrate Pokrovsk, according to official data, have been destroyed, even minor successes by the Russian Federation could open the way for it to advance deeper into the region.
