The confession was published in congratulations on the 79th anniversary of the Energia enterprise.

The head of the Russian space corporation Energia, Igor Maltsev, unexpectedly admitted that the situation in the organization is critical . This is reported by Defense Express .

“The situation is critical: multimillion-dollar debts, interest on loans are “eating” the budget, many processes are inefficient, a significant part of the team has lost motivation and a sense of general responsibility,” he said in a congratulatory message on the 79th anniversary of the Energia enterprise.

According to the expert, employees need to stop lying to themselves and others about the real state of affairs. He added that saving the company is a task “from the realm of miracles.”

It is noteworthy that such congratulations are usually intended to motivate the team, but in this case the effect was clearly the opposite. It is also possible that a hacker attack took place.

It should be noted that Energia is one of the leading enterprises in the Russian space industry. The corporation’s main organization is located in the city of Korolev (Moscow Region).

The company develops launch vehicles, satellites, automatic interplanetary stations, manned spacecraft, manned orbital stations and their modules.

Russian space problems

Be that as it may, the situation in the Russian rocket and space sector is indeed almost catastrophic. In 2023, the new Russian spacecraft “Luna-25”, which had been promoted for many years, suffered a disaster.

As it became known, due to a deviation of the actual parameters of the propulsion system’s impulse from the calculated ones, the station left orbit and crashed into the surface of the Moon.

It was also reported that the Russians could postpone the first launch of the Soyuz-5 rocket , which they have very high hopes for.
