US President Donald Trump has told NATO allies that Russia’s war against Ukraine is “completely out of control” and requires immediate, aggressive action.
This was reported by Bloomberg with reference to a source, Censor.NET reports .
“Despite an apparent lack of enthusiasm for a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky later today, Trump said at a closed-door meeting with NATO leaders that action must be taken regarding Ukraine, as the situation in the country is “completely out of control,” the US president was quoted as saying by an anonymous source.
Although the publication’s interlocutor did not go into details, this comment was seen as a positive signal of the American leader’s interest in a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, Bloomberg adds.
As a reminder, on June 25, US President Donald Trump confirmed that he would meet with Volodymyr Zelensky and discuss Ukraine with him.
