The capacities of the shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Kili and the repair base in Izmail (Odesa region), which belong to the structure of “Ukrainian Danube Shipping”, are currently fully loaded.

According  to  T. v. at. general director of the enterprise Dmytro Moskalenko, there are about 30 barges, a self-propelled fleet, and tugboats in the queue for repairs. Transmitted  by the National Industrial Portal .

“We have a shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Kilia and a repair base in Izmail. Previously, the plant repaired a small fleet, many orders were placed with private enterprises, but now the plant is fully loaded, there are about 30 barges, a self-propelled fleet, and tugboats in the queue for repairs. We don’t accept third-party orders at all,” he said in an interview with TTS.

After the beginning of the Russian blockade of Ukrainian seaports, in particular, the ports of “Great Odesa”, transportation through the ports of the Danube region became extremely active. So, in June transshipment there amounted to 1.4 million tons, which is 3.7 times more than in March. 200,000 tons were transported by the UDP fleet.
