Special forces operators from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center continue to lead all components of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the number of targets engaged and destroyed. Precision strikes against the enemy—both on the front line and deep behind enemy lines—combined with the skill and high level of training of drone operators, continue to inflict significant losses on the occupiers.
This week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commended the leadership of the “Alpha” unit during a briefing by SBU official Oleksandr Poklad. The Head of State also approved new special service operations proposed by the Major General.
According to verified data from the relevant “Alpha” unit of the SBU, special forces personnel neutralized nearly 6,000 occupation troops in July 2026.

- 233 ammunition and supply depots
- 67 armored vehicles (20 tanks and 47 armored combat vehicles)
- 54 artillery systems and self-propelled guns
- 26 watercraft
- 23 air defense systems
- 22 radar/electronic warfare systems
- 18 MLRS units
- 13 aircraft (destroyed: two Su-30s, one Su-30SM; damaged: one MiG-31BM, five Su-24s, one Su-27P, one Su-30, one Mi-8MTPR, one Ka-27)
