According to the Azov member, all Russian servicemen who are now fighting on the territory of Ukraine are completely isolated from information.

Russian special services were shocked by the erudition of the “Azov” people and did not understand why the propaganda of the Russian Federation does not coincide with reality.

 Bogdan Krotevich “Taurus”, the chief of staff of the “Azov” regiment, who returned from Russian captivity, told about this in an interview with Natalya Moseychuk.

According to him, after leaving Azovstal, he and some other prisoners were in the colony in Yelenovka. There, for the first four days, they were guarded by the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) and guards from “some establishments in Rostov or Taganrog.” They communicated with employees of the Russian FSB and the GRU.

“The attitude towards us was very normal. They didn’t feed much, yes, but they didn’t beat us then, and interrogations can be called communication. When you enter a prison or colony (for me it was a new experience), you undress completely and take pictures of you (tattoo etc.). They ( the Russian military – UNIAN ) were so disappointed that we do not have a swastika! I even felt a little ashamed that I disappointed them so much ( jokes ),” Taurus shared.

Further, the Azov member said that when the invaders did not see the tattoos of either the swastika or Hitler on the Ukrainians, they asked: “What about Nazism?”

“I say: “What does Nazism have to do with it?” They ask me: “Bandera, Shukhevych are heroes?” I say: “Yes, Shukhevych is a hero for me. Because he fought from the age of 16 until the last. For me personally, it is the hero Shukhevych, because he is a military man. Not a politician, but a military man, he is a hero for me.” To which they tell me that Shukhevych “commanded a Wehrmacht battalion for some time.” I explained that they had an agreement with Nazi Germany that they would de-occupy Ukraine. After that, Bandera was imprisoned to prison, and Shukhevych’s battalion was disbanded. He was taken to prison, during which he jumped out of the train on the move. Then Shukhevych creates the UPA – the Ukrainian Insurgent Army – and begins to fight both against Nazi Germany and against the Soviet Union – that is, for a free Ukraine So this is not Nazism,the Russian military – UNIAN ) were surprised!” Krotevich explained.

Further, the Ukrainian defender explained that in “Azov” the entire officer corps is mostly young guys. And the invaders were very surprised that the “Azov” – erudite, educated, and so answered.

“I spoke in Russian so that they understood what I was saying. One of the soldiers asked me: “You are such a young man, you are erudite, we see that you are not Nazi and do not support Nazism, how did it happen that you are here? ” To which I replied: “I am a Ukrainian soldier. You attacked my country. I am defending her. That’s how it happened,” Krotevich shared.
