The Russians took the Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 into the sky: when are the first missiles expected

In particular, the takeoff of 5 Tu-95MS aircraft from Olenegorsk, Murmansk region of the Russian Federation was recorded.

The Russian occupation troops once again raised bombers into the sky. This time, not only the Tu-95MS took off . This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At 11:30 p.m., the military informed about the takeoff of 4 TU22M3s in the Tambov area. The planes kept a southeasterly course. 

Later, the Air Force added that the takeoff of 5 Tu-95MS aircraft from Olenegorsk, Murmansk region of the Russian Federation was also recorded. 

“Nikolaevsky Vanek”, commenting on the activity of the Tu-95MS, noted that the sortie was probably a combat sortie. In the Engels area, they will most likely be at 02:00 – 03:00.

“If the launches are from here, then we expect the missiles in our airspace around 02:30 – 03:30. In the Caspian Sea region, they will most likely be at 03:00 – 04:00. If the launches are from here, then we expect the missiles in our airspace around 04:10 – 05:10,” the message says. 

It is emphasized that the specified time is “very approximate, with a large margin of error.” 

It is worth noting that the Russians also launched attack drones over Ukraine.

Attacks of the Russian Federation on Ukraine with the Tu-95MS

As you know, the Russian occupiers use Tu-95MS strategic bombers during massive missile attacks on Ukraine. The last blow came on June 12. 

That night, the enemy used 30 means of air attack. The Russians launched 4 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 24 Shahed-131/136 type attack UAVs, as well as an Iskander-M ballistic missile and an Kh-47M2 Kinjal aeroballistic missile. 

The Ukrainian military shot down 29 targets, including 1 Kinzhal missile, 4 X-101/X-555 missiles and 24 drones.
