The Russians are setting up “protective detachments” in the rear to stop the mass  escape of their occupying troops from the battlefield in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Facebook .

“As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, among the personnel of the occupying forces, there is an intensification of panic and unwillingness to participate in the war. The situation is aggravated due to untimely and incomplete payments of the promised monetary support. Many military personnel, whose only motivation was precisely material support, are looking for opportunities to either return to the territory Russian Federation, or surrender,” the intelligence service said.

“The occupiers, who retreated from the Izyum direction to the Donetsk region, are waiting for the delivery of ammunition and fuel. During the retreat, the units used up or were forced to abandon almost all weapons and equipment. The Russians complain that the promised assistance never arrived,” the report says.

As noted in intelligence, units of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation (military unit 12721) suffered heavy losses during the retreat from Izyum and Balakleya.

“In some companies, about half of the personnel remained. The survivors intend to move towards the Russian border in order to return home,” the intelligence says.

It is also said that many occupiers have concentrated near the Russian border in the Belgorod region. They have no connection with the command, there is no supply of food and ammunition.

“In order to stop the mass flight from the battlefield, the Kremlin command is stepping up the use of ‘tested’ Soviet methods of ‘persuasion’. From the intercepted conversations of the occupiers, it became known about the establishment of so-called ‘barrage detachments’ in the rear. In particular, the commanders of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade 2 The 1st Army Corps received a message: “A barrage detachment has been posted in the rear zone. All retreating troops will be destroyed. Commander’s order number 222. Bring to all posts,” the message reads.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the General Staff stated that as a result of the successful counter-offensive of the Ukrainian troops in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian occupiers are leaving their positions and fleeing with the loot deep into the temporarily occupied territories or into Russia. In particular, the invaders  fled from Svatovo in Kamaz trucks and armored Tigers.

Yesterday, the General Staff announced that the Russian invaders in Svatovo, Lugansk region, in a  panic, packed their things and fled  because of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is approaching the region. The invaders also evacuated their families.

  1. If this keeps up, the cockroaches will need as many soldiers in the rear to guard their soldiers on the front. That’s not really an efficient way to fight, now is it? That’s sort of like try to hold water in cupped hands.

    • “…the Kremlin command is stepping up the use of ‘tested’ Soviet methods of ‘persuasion’.

And look how well that worked out for them.
Typical of the Moskali, if it doesn’t work, keep doing it.
