To reduce the wear of the engines of strategic aircraft, they do not fit the usual missile launch areas.
The Russians are faced with the problem of the production of motor resources (aircraft engines), the invaders are trying to reduce their wear and tear.
This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in an interview during the informational telethon .
“The strategic, long-range aviation of the Russians faced a problem that they did not think about – this is the depletion of motor resources (engines for aircraft – UNIAN) … A very large depletion of motor resources has gone,” he said.
The head of the GUR noted that there is no production of strategic aircraft in Russia. It uses Soviet aircraft, which are constantly being extended and modernized.
“They, the last two missile attacks, made a lot of volleys directly near the airfields … They don’t approach the usual missile launch areas, they just climb to the top, make a circle and launch missiles in order to reduce the consumption of motor resources. This is actually a very big problem for them has become now,” Budanov explained.
