Late in the evening on Tuesday, October 25, the Russian invaders attacked the Dnieper . Reports of explosions and a fire began to appear on social networks, which were later confirmed.
As noted in the Office of the President of Ukraine, Russian terrorists launched their rockets into the city.
According to available information, fragments of a shell fell on a local gas station, and the gas station caught fire.
According to the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, the attack resulted in the deaths.
“So far, at least two civilians are known to have died: one in a car, one at a car wash located next to a gas station,” he wrote.
An air raid alert in the area was announced at 21:05. As of 22:00, the danger remains.
Updated (22:20): According to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Valentin Reznichenko, the Russians killed two people in the Dnieper and wounded three more.
“Such preliminary data after the evening attack on the city. The enemy hit one of the districts of the Dnieper. Because of the impact, a fire broke out at a gas station. All details are being clarified,” he added.
The situation in the Dnepropetrovsk region
The Dnipropetrovsk region, which borders on the temporarily occupied regions of the Zaporozhye region and the recently liberated regions of the Kherson region, is under fire from the Russian invaders almost daily. In particular, the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog districts suffer from enemy fire.
On October 20, it became known that the enemy in the Dnipropetrovsk region struck an industrial enterprise and an energy infrastructure facility , there were serious destructions.
On the night of October 22, the invaders fired from MLRS and heavy artillery at the Nikopol district of Dnepropetrovsk region, almost 1,000 families were left without electricity. On the same day , three people were wounded in the Dnepropetrovsk region as a result of enemy shelling .
On October 23, in the morning, the Russian invaders again hit the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Five people were injured, two of them were driving a car when a Russian shell exploded nearby.
