Viktor Sobolev, a member of the Russian State Duma Committee on Defense, said that the war against Ukraine should supposedly end with Moscow’s victory by 2030. His words are quoted by Russian media.
“The fascist regime must be dealt with by the time Poland and other NATO countries are ready for war with Russia. Poles, Germans, French, British, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Sweden – everyone wants to fight Russia, to inflict a strategic defeat on it,” Sobolev said.
A Russian official said that European countries are allegedly actively preparing their populations for war with Russia.
“We must by this time, by 2030, fully complete the special military operation in Ukraine. End it, as the president said, with the victory of our armed forces, with an absolute victory,” he added.
Sobolev also hinted that Moscow is preparing for war with other countries in the event of a victory over Ukraine.
“It will be necessary to restructure the armed forces so that they are ready to repel the aggression of any geopolitical adversary in any strategic direction and under any conditions,” he emphasized.
