The FSB claimed to have detained 11 people, including four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack: Dalerjon Mirzoev, Rachabalizoda Saidakrami Murodali, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov, who turned out to be citizens of Tajikistan.

The Moscow Times writes that one of the media centers of the Islamic State, Al-Azaim, published threats against the Russian Federation and promised new terrorist attacks because of photographs and videos depicting the torture of terrorism suspects.
