The Russian Commissioner for Human Rights believes that there is a reason to talk about “the maturity and civilization” of her country.

The terrorist attack in Moscow at Crocus City Hall continues to be in the spotlight – the Russian Ombudsman found words to justify the Russian Federation after information about the torture of detainees appeared.

As The Moscow Times reports , Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova, in the context of the bloody terrorist attack, declared the “civilization” of the Russian Federation. The publication notes that after torturing the suspects, Moskalkova said: the fact that Russia did not allow reprisals against those detained on suspicion of committing a terrorist attack speaks “of the maturity and civility of the state.”

“I must note that we have such a civilized and mature state that we were able to avoid lynching. This is very, very important!” she wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to the publication, it is now known that 143 people were killed and more than 360 were injured as a result of the terrorist attack. The FSB claimed to have detained 11 people, including four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack: Dalerjon Mirzoev, Rachabalizoda Saidakrami Murodali, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov, who turned out to be citizens of Tajikistan.

“The security forces tortured the detainees and filmed it on video, which was then published by the Gray Zone Telegram channel close to the disbanded Wagner PMC and distributed by state media. Thus, Saidakrami’s ear was cut off and put in his mouth, forcing him to eat it. The “Call to Putin” torture was used against Fariduni. “, passing a current into the groin area. Fayzov’s eye was knocked out – he was taken to the court hearing in a wheelchair, with a catheter. Mirzoev was brought with bruises and hematomas on his face, a bag hanging from his neck,” the publication says.

After this, Moskalkova declared the inadmissibility of torture against detainees and accused. “Despite the fact that the detention of criminals can be in a very serious form, and the criminal law provides that actions during detention associated with causing harm do not entail liability, the use of torture against detainees and accused persons is completely unacceptable. Any procedural operational actions must be carried out in accordance with with the law,” she emphasized.

The Moscow Times writes that one of the media centers of the Islamic State, Al-Azaim, published threats against the Russian Federation and promised new terrorist attacks because of photographs and videos depicting the torture of terrorism suspects.

The publication also cites a comment from one of the lawyers, who explained to journalists what the value of testimony obtained under torture is. “Under torture, any person will say everything that is demanded of him. Torture is prohibited by the Constitution, the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and international norms. Today you justify torture, and tomorrow they will throw a machine gun at you and they will torture you,” warned lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov.

Crocus Hall terrorist attack – worth reading today

On the evening of March 22, a large-scale terrorist attack occurred in the Moscow region. Several people dressed in camouflage opened fire from machine guns at visitors to the concert of the Picnic group at Crocus City Hall. As a result of the attack, dozens of people were killed and many were injured. The terrorist organization ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. At the same time, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin made an appeal in which he linked the terrorist attack with Ukraine, and drew an analogy with the crimes of the Nazis during the Second World War, and the head of the FSB of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bortnikov, has a “Ukrainian trace” in the terrorist attack.

At the same time, the dictator’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the torture of those involved in the case, and according to Bloomberg, even Putin’s closest circle does not believe in the legend of the “Ukrainian trace” .
