The russian Mosfilm film company donates armored vehicles from the 1950s to the Russian army

The Russian occupiers seem to be experiencing a serious shortage of weapons, if their dictator Vladimir Putin is scraping the bottom of the barrel wherever he can. Even the Russian Mosfilm was forced to hand over armored vehicles stored in its warehouses as props to the invaders at the front. The film studio supplied the Russian army with tanks, armored personnel carriers and self-propelled guns from the 1950s for the war in Ukraine.

This statement was made by Mosfilm CEO Karen Shakhnazarov during a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. This was reported by the Telegram channel ASTRA.

Shakhnazarov bragged to Putin that this year Mosfilm provided charitable aid in the amount of six million rubles “for the needs of the SVO.” And last year it sent fifty units of military equipment to the occupiers.

He detailed that in 2023 the film company transferred to the Russian armed forces 28 T-55 medium tanks and 8 PT-76 light floating tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles and eight tractors, which were stored at the Mosfilm “military-technical” base.

The equipment was used as props for filming movies and as entertainment for tourists. It was stored at a film studio in the Moscow region town of Krasnoznamensk.

“I found out that there was a need, contacted the Ministry of Defense, and they took these vehicles,” the film studio’s CEO reported to the dictator.

To this, the leader of Russian terrorists Putin responded: “We are proud of Mosfilm.”

By the way, on the film studio’s website in the “Military Equipment” section it is stated that in total Mosfilm has more than 190 units of armored vehicles at its disposal, including armored personnel carriers and self-propelled guns, which from the outside “thundered” under various models of foreign military equipment from different periods. And it seems that there are even several dozen units of military weapons of foreign manufacture.

So there are still some canned goods in the “bins” for the occupiers.

It should be noted that the Russian Defense Ministry has been actively de-preserving old stockpiles of military equipment since the start of the full-scale invasion. And now, apparently, it is the turn of the requisites.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Russia has stepped up the buyback of Soviet weapons and equipment around the world. This indicates the depletion of Russian stockpiles from the USSR era in warehouses and storage centers, as well as the deterioration of the quality of what remains.

What’s there to brag about? This is pure desperation and is a cringe moment in the crime syndicate’s evil history. And, the film studio better start building tanks of wood and cardboard, because they will never see their ancient junk again, except as burned out hulks in Ukraine or Kursk.

Just think for one moment, the US Army demanding tanks from Hollywood to carry on a fight. It’s a horrible thought.
