The Russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on Mykolaiv, a woman was killed, and 16 other people were injured.
As the head of Mykolaiv OVA Vitaly Kim reported, on October 15, around 02:30, the enemy attacked the city, previously – with missiles of the S-300 type. Infrastructural facility, restaurant complex, shopping pavilions, residential buildings and cars were damaged.
“Fires broke out, liquidation measures are ongoing. As a result of the shelling, a woman died, 16 people were injured, three of them received outpatient care,” the official said.
As specified in the regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service, in one of the districts of the city, an infrastructure facility, private residential buildings and cars were damaged, where fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished on an area of 30 square meters. m and 400 sq. m:
“In another district, a restaurant complex and shopping pavilions caught fire. The fire with an area of 1,400 square meters was extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service.”
According to rescuers, a woman died as a result of being hit by ammunition and their fragments. In total, 77 people and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences from the State Emergency Service.

The State Police of the Mykolaiv region said that at the scene of the incident, the police cordoned off the territory and blocked the movement of vehicles. Law enforcement officers record the consequences of war crimes, and also provide assistance to citizens. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of laws and customs of war”.
