The Russian Federation hit Nikolaev and Odessa: there was damage to energy facilities and injuries

The Russian army attacked Nikolaev and Odessa, there was damage to energy facilities and injuries.

“That night, the enemy attack on the southern regions was focused on the Nikolaev region and Odessa region. The enemy continued attacks on energy facilities. Before the attack by drones from a tactical aircraft, from the Black Sea, trying to damage the air defense, Russian terrorists fired an X-radar missile at the Odessa region. 31P, which lost its combat capability in the air,” the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reported .

It is said that the enemy then attacked with several waves of drones of the “Shahed-131/136” type from the Black Sea. 4 attack UAVs were shot down in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, but it was not possible to avoid hits. In particular, in the Nikolaev region the enemy hit an energy facility, a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters. In addition, enemy drones were patrolling among residential areas of populated areas. As a result of the fall of the downed suicide bomber in the private sector of Nikolaev, a two-story residential building was destroyed, and a fire also broke out there, which was extinguished by the State Emergency Service specialists. Several surrounding houses were damaged by the blast wave. According to preliminary data, 11 people were injured, 2 were hospitalized, others were treated on the spot.

In the Odessa region, debris from a downed drone damaged an energy facility and caused a fire, which cut off power to part of the regional center and nearby settlements. The fire has been extinguished. Fortunately, no people were hurt. Restoration and repair work is currently ongoing.
