On the evening of June 2, Russia was attacked by Ukrainian drones, and the Russian Defense Ministry says it shot down more than fifty UAVs.

“From 20:10 to 21:45 Moscow time, 53 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty ,” the Russians claim.

They say they shot down

• 34 UAVs – over the territory of the Kursk region,
• 14 UAVs – over the territory of the Belgorod region,
• four UAVs – over the territory of the Bryansk region,
• one UAV – over the territory of the Oryol region.
