In particular, more than 2,500 servicemen of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation did not receive any financial support at all due to the lack of documents confirming their enlistment in the service.

The Russian army systematically robs its own servicemen.

As noted in a message on the Telegram channel of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, about 10% of servicemen of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia do not receive financial support or do not receive it in full.

It is indicated that this is evidenced by documents from the Russian Ministry of Defense on the results of the inspection of the district in March-April 2025, obtained by Ukrainian military intelligence.

“According to reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, more than 2.5 thousand servicemen of the Southern District did not receive any financial support at all due to the lack of documents confirming their enlistment in the service, and about 3 thousand more – due to the “lack of bank details,” the report says.Read also:

In addition, more than 20,000 people did not receive the full amount of payments due to them due to the lack of relevant orders.

“Payments to the families of over 2,500 deceased servicemen, as well as over 2,000 people discharged from the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces, have not been issued,” the intelligence service said.

It is noted that the report only deals with one of Russia’s five military districts – the Southern Military District. At the same time, the problems may be even deeper on the scale of all the armed forces of the aggressor state.

“Such a systematic approach may indicate a conscious policy of the aggressor state’s theft of its own military, whom the Kremlin uses as cannon fodder. This is yet another confirmation that in the Russian army, people are just expendable material,” emphasized GUR representative Andriy Yusov.

The intelligence service added that the analysis of the information obtained indicates a significant deterioration in the situation with the payment of cash benefits in the Russian army during 2025.

Former leader of “DPR” criticized the so-called SVO – details

As reported, previously, former leader of the “DPR” Pavlo Gubarev criticized Russia’s strategy for waging war against Ukraine and stated that Moscow would have been better off not starting the so-called SVO at all.

He was outraged that the Russian occupation army was not able to “beat and drive” the enemy, as their “grandfathers” had been able to do during World War II. Gubarev also did not understand what goal the Kremlin was trying to achieve.
