The Admiral Makarov frigate was indeed damaged, and for some time it will not be able to strike with Caliber missiles.

The role of the Russian Black Sea Fleet been reduced to 70%, because it can no longer perform its functions.
This was announced by the head of the Center for Military Legal Research Alexander Musienko during an information telethon .
He believes that “the situation with the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation indicates that 70 percent of the role of this fleet has been reduced to nothing, since this fleet cannot be used to shell the coast of Ukrainian cities with artillery.”VIDEO OF THE DAYplay video
“Secondly, it cannot be used to land an amphibious assault and support such a landing. Its role today is limited to shelling Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian infrastructure facilities with Kalibr missiles,” Musienko said.
According to him, “this is a considerable threat, but this is definitely not what a full-fledged fleet is created for, which costs a lot of money and its maintenance is the same.”
The expert recalled that a partial withdrawal of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet from the occupied Crimea to Novorossiysk took place after there was a “pop” at the Saki airfield and explosions near Dzhankoy in an ammunition depot.
However, they were partially returned, but after the vulnerability of Russian ships is demonstrated, obviously, some decisions will be made.
Musienko noted that the flagship of the Russian fleet, the frigate Admiral Makarov, was indeed damaged.
“It is still difficult to say how difficult they are in terms of repairs. At least for some time, it will definitely not be able to perform one of its functions – delivering strikes with Caliber missiles,” the expert emphasized.
