The State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development will repair 135 man-made structures (bridges, tunnels, overpasses) on roads of national importance this year. Work has already begun on 33 facilities.

This is stated in the Agency’s message. 

“In 2025, more than 135 bridges on public roads of state importance throughout Ukraine will need repair to maintain them in normal working condition and organize road safety for all its participants. Work has begun on 33 artificial structures in various regions of Ukraine,” the report said.

The Agency noted that the work is being carried out within the framework of the planned funding for the current repair and operational maintenance of public roads of state importance .

Particular attention is focused on operational maintenance work in front-line regions. In particular, work is ongoing in Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, and Mykolaiv regions.

As reported, a procurement organization of the Recovery Agency has appeared in Ukraine . The organization will purchase goods and services – these are works directly related to the construction, operational maintenance of roads, and the development of project documentation .

It was previously reported that the Turkish company Onur won a tender for emergency repairs of the automobile bridge across the Desenka Strait in Kyiv.

It was also reported that in Kyiv, from March 28 to August 1, traffic will be partially restricted from the left to the right bank via the Southern Bridge across the Dnieper.
