The prosecution demanded for Lyubov Sobol two years of restriction of freedom on a “sanitary case”

The prosecution demanded that lawyer Lyubov Sobol be sentenced to two years of restriction of freedom on a “sanitary case”. This was announced by her lawyer Vladimir Voronin.

The prosecution demands to prohibit Sobol from participating in public events, leaving home from 22:00 to 6:00, as well as leaving the Moscow region in which she lives.

  1. Of course this would have nothing to do with her being an opposition politician. Russians may as well stay at home on election day, the result is a foregone conclusion. With only one party being allowed to run, United Russia will get at least 140% of the vote.
