Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte pleased with the good news about the transfer of the long-awaited F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine .
According to him, progress can be seen in this matter. He revealed the details on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to journalists from Radio Liberty .
As Rutte noted, the Netherlands is trying to cope with the task as quickly as possible, now everything is on schedule.
“We hope to transfer them as soon as possible… There is progress in these matters. We are, in principle, on schedule. So this is good news,” he said.
At the same time, the official clarified exactly how many aircraft Ukraine can receive. Rutte says there will probably be more than 24 units.
“There will be 24 fighters, perhaps more, but not less… we are working together with the Danes and others,” said the head of the Dutch government
