Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the presence of country leaders at the parade in Moscow on May 9 is shameful.
He said this during a joint press conference for the media with French President Emmanuel Macron in Nancy on Friday, May 9, Ukrinform reports , Censor.NET reports.
“I have no doubt that being present at the victory parade in Moscow and applauding President Putin, who says he will “continue to cleanse Ukraine of Nazism,” is a shame for everyone present there and pretending not to see the truth,” Tusk said.
The politician emphasized that in this case the truth is black and white, and there can be no speculation or interpretation of events.
“Therefore, the presence at the Victory Parade of a country that bombs cities, hospitals and kindergartens, and which has caused the deaths and injuries of over a million people over three years, is a shame,” the Polish Prime Minister added.
Recall that on May 9, a military parade was held on Red Square in Moscow. The parade was attended by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and leaders of almost 30 countries, including China, Brazil, Venezuela, Slovakia, Serbia, Armenia, Mongolia, Cuba, Tajikistan, and Belarus.
