Head of the Presidential Office Kirill Budanov commented on the public outcry surrounding the recent internal changes in the state. According to him, the position of citizens has been heard, and decisions are being made taking into account the interests of the country.
He also called for maintaining calm and avoiding internal conflicts. Budanov wrote about this on his Telegram account.
Budanov noted that the situation surrounding the latest internal decisions has aroused strong emotions in society.
“I understand people who express their position. Indifference is the force that has held our state together all these years. The position of society has been heard,” the head of the OPU wrote.
Budanov said that the situation is being resolved “professionally, constructively, and in the best interests of the state.” In this regard, he called on Ukrainians to remain calm and not give in to emotions.
Separately, the head of the President’s Office emphasized that discussions are a normal phenomenon for a democratic society, but they must remain peaceful and not create threats to national security.
He also warned against internal conflicts, emphasizing that the enemy is closely monitoring the situation within the country and may exploit any disagreements.
“I urge you not to hate anyone. The enemy is closely monitoring our every internal dispute and is waiting for us to start fighting among ourselves. I will tell the enemies directly: you won’t wait. Let’s think about our joint victory. Ukraine will definitely emerge from this situation stronger. Work is underway. There will be results,” Budanov summed up.
As a reminder, on Monday, July 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Commander of the Joint Forces Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, Commander of the 3rd Army Corps Andriy Biletsky, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Horbatyuk, and Commander of the Charter Corps Ihor Obolensky (“Cornet”). The main topic of discussion was the effective use of the experience of all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to enhance interaction and perform combat missions.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of active discussion of possible personnel changes in the military leadership.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held consultations with Ukrainian commanders on the situation at the front and the further strategy of the war. The very next day, key talks will take place that should help Ukraine achieve its goals and bring the end of the war closer on terms acceptable to the state.
