Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell responded sharply to a journalist about the colors of his boss Pete Hegset’s tie, which resemble the Russian flag, HuffPost writes .
A journalist for this publication, S.E. Datey, asked Parnell about the tie Hegseth chose for a meeting at the White House when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived there.
The article claims its resemblance to the Russian flag sparked Kremlin propaganda. So the journalist inquired about the tie’s origins, to which a Pentagon spokesman responded:
“Your mommy bought it – it’s a patriotic American tie, idiot.”
The journalist also reportedly asked whether Hegseth was aware of the US flag code, which prohibits the use of the flag as clothing.
“If loving your country enough to represent it head to toe is a crime in the eyes of a left-wing blog called HuffPost, then consider Minister Hegseth guilty. He is a patriot who respects this country and our flag,” said another Pentagon spokeswoman.

Why on earth would Hegseth Minister of War of America wearing a Russian Flag tie, in a meeting about the war? Or anyhow wearing a Russian Flag Tie? Can an American explain why this is needed, I dont get it………..
