There are already contracted opportunities within USAI.
Pentagon Speaker Patrick Ryder said at a press conference that the United States will continue to supply weapons for air defense .
As he said , within the framework of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), there are a number of already contracted opportunities, including the supply of air defense equipment.
“There are certain capabilities that have been contracted to USAI, including some air defense capabilities. We will also continue to work very closely with allies and partners in terms of identifying Ukraine’s needs and then working with them to help facilitate that process,” explained the Pentagon speaker.
He was also asked whether American air defense missiles continue to be supplied to Ukraine right now. According to Ryder, we are talking about “these and other assistance options” that the Americans announced as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
