The Pentagon commented on the events in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation

Singh noted that Ukraine’s actions in the Kursk region “are consistent with US policy” on the use of the weapons provided.

The Pentagon does not consider the operation of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation an escalation. This statement was made by the deputy spokesperson of the American defense department Sabrina Singh.

“We do not believe that this is in any way an escalation. Ukraine is doing what it needs to do to achieve success on the battlefield,”  Voice of America correspondent Ostap Yarysh quotes her as saying.

She added that the United States will continue to support Ukraine with the resources it needs.

In addition, Singh noted that Ukraine’s actions in the Kursk region “are consistent with US policy” on the use of the provided weapons.
