As a result of a US drone strike in Syria, a high-ranking leader of the al-Qaeda group, Abdul Hamid al-Matara, was killed on October 22.
This was announced by a representative of the US Central Command.
The death of the leader “will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to further plan and carry out global attacks that threaten US citizens, our partners and innocent civilians,” said Major John Rigsby. He added that there is no data on civilian casualties as a result of the strike.
The drone attack in the northwest of the country came two days after the attack on a US outpost in southern Syria. Rigsby did not elaborate on whether the drone strike was a response to previous events.
Prior to this, the United States confirmed the attack on the A-Tanf garrison on October 20, stating that no American personnel were injured. Rigsby said that “Al-Qaeda” continues to pose a threat to the United States and its allies, and uses Syria as a safe haven, reports Radio Liberty.

Let’s hope that it really is the enemy that was destroyed this time and not another innocent family. With Biden at the helm, you never know…
As if killing one of them would make a difference. All terrorists must be wiped! This is just propaganda in favor of the hair-sniffer. He fucked up in both the US and Afghanistan. He supported a war on our police and allowed the tallies to take over Afghanistan.
