Russian occupiers shot unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war in Krynki, Kherson region.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, an investigation has been launched into this fact. “Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violation of the laws and customs of war, coupled with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code),” the statement says.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that on April 7, a video was posted on one of the Telegram channels, which shows Russian soldiers shooting three captured Ukrainian soldiers who were lying motionless on the ground.
“The video shows how a representative of the Russian Armed Forces fires several shots at unarmed, stationary military personnel, probably from a machine gun. The description under the recording indicates that the event occurred near the Krynki Oleshkovo community of the Kherson region,” the Office of the Prosecutor General clarified.
