The mayor of Kharkov also reported the destruction of buildings. One person is known to be injured.
The mayor of Kharkov shared more detailed information about night “arrivals” . He said that a medical complex was under attack, in the buildings of which there were people at the time of the rocket attack.
According to him , at the time of the attack there were more than a thousand people in the medical facility – 900 patients and 250 staff. “Fortunately, the missiles hit the ground and not the buildings of the medical facility – otherwise it is difficult to imagine the number of dead and injured. There is one wounded person, the degree is mild,” the mayor detailed.
Regarding the destruction, several buildings were damaged by the blast wave: glass was broken, roofs, power lines, water pipes and other utilities were damaged. All relevant services are on site.

Later, the National Police added that at about 00:30 on April 27, the invaders fired two missiles at the Saltovsky district. Ammunition landed on the hospital grounds. It also detailed that a hospital patient born in 1970 received debris injuries. As a result of the shelling, the non-operating building of the medical facility, the catering unit and the building in which 60 patients and five hospital workers were located at the time of arrival were damaged. Patients from the destroyed premises were transferred to other buildings.
“According to the preliminary conclusions of specialists from the explosives service, the Russians fired at the medical facility with the S-300 MLRS,” the National Police said in a statement.
