The “nomadic” tactics of the Defense Forces and the “regrouping” of the Russian Nazis: victory in the battle for northeastern Ukraine is close (column of the editor-in-chief)

The situation on the fronts is developing so quickly that any analytical material becomes obsolete literally in a matter of hours. Today it became clear that the Russian group in the north-east of Ukraine, speaking in boxing slang, “floated” and is no longer holding a blow, leaving even those settlements that it could quite successfully defend.

The rapid Ukrainian counteroffensive probably demoralized the enemy, and he hastily withdrew his forces to the east, across the Oskol River. Sometimes throwing the equipment.

Yesterday, Ukrainian defenders liberated Kupyansk – at least its western part (the city is divided by a river), and today, it seems, they entered Izyum. On the Slavic side, judging by unverified information, battles are being fought for the Lyman. There is also information about the landing of a tactical landing in Khotomla, which is west of Kharkiv, on the eastern bank of the Dinets. And this is already a threat to Vovchansk, a very important transport hub, without which the position of the occupiers in Slobozhansk becomes completely sour. Something is also happening in Svatovo Luhansk region. In total, since the beginning of the counteroffensive, more than thirty settlements have been liberated in Kharkiv Oblast alone – two and a half thousand square kilometers!

The Russian occupiers are feverishly returning the reserves that were previously transferred to the south, where the activity of the Armed Forces has also increased (in some directions, the Ukrainians have advanced 20 km). However, it is still not possible to build a new line of defense for the enemy. Of course, sooner or later it will happen, and the front will stabilize, but when and where is still unknown.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia called what is happening a “regrouping”: they say that the forces are concentrated in the Izyum-Balaklei direction (the same ones that were supposed to make a deep cover of the United Forces with a strike on Barvinkovo in the spring, but got stuck in the “triangle of death” and suffered terrible losses) transferred to Donbass for “building up efforts”. Oh, and the Nazis love to invent good euphemisms – then they have “gestures” and “steps” of goodwill, and now here is “regrouping”. Soon, we predict, the familiar “reduction of the front line” will sound, and suicide in the bunker is not far away. But we digress.

The success of the September offensive of the Ukrainian defenders is largely due, as it seems to us, not only to a competent choice of the place and time of the strike, but also to a very unusual tactic. After the classic breakthrough of the defense line in the Balaklia area, carried out by mechanized brigades, not tank units, as was done during the Second World War and as the Russians obviously expected, were thrown into the breach, but nimble units of the Airborne Assault Troops on light and high-speed vehicles such as HMMWV. They quickly dispersed behind the enemy’s rear, began to cut communications, destroy headquarters, burn artillery batteries and prevent the enemy from drawing up reserves. Encountering resistance, they do not engage in battle, bypass the enemy’s defenders and continue to rapidly advance deep into the temporarily captured territory. Against such groups, the artillery of the Putinites, of which, unfortunately, they still have a lot,

This is reminiscent of the actions of medieval nomads, who in this way successfully defeated powerful agricultural states and captured a large part of Eurasia.

At the same time, the Defense Forces do not stop inflicting pinpoint fire strikes on the enemy’s facilities, and we are talking not only about warehouses and command posts, but also about the enemy’s positions. The cleansing storm (west wind, steel) continues!

When this material was almost ready, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai, reported that Ukrainian soldiers were seen on the outskirts of occupied Lysychansk. A little later, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, published a fox emoji in a telegram.

What does it mean? This means that Ukraine will definitely win!

  1. I’d mentioned the Ukrainian victories to my coworkers at the steel foundry, and they seemed shocked. Apparently, it’s easy for most Americans to forget about something going on for longer than three months and that’s happening on the other side of the world. Other side, relative to the geographical locations anyway.

That one coworker I’d mentioned before, is still absolutely sure I’ll die if I try getting to Kyiv, of which the UDF already forced out the Russians from there, so I won’t be near any fighting.

    • Mac, that coworker is completely wrong. I’ve arrived in Kyiv 2 days ago, by car, and the city and the rest of the country west of it is completely normal. If it weren’t for the numerous roadblocks and military checkpoints, you’d never guess that the country was engaged in a terrible war. There aren’t even any air raid sirens going on anymore in the city. The city seems to be packed with people and traffic like always. Oksana and I feel perfectly safe here. On a side note, I’d still have come, even if things were much more dangerous here, but this is an individual’s own choice. I think your chances of getting killed in a traffic accident or on an American street by a thug are about the same as getting hit by a missile here, maybe here, the chances are even lower.

  2. Though I live on the west coast, I like the reporting of the New York Post.

I think it’s reasonable to assume you guys would like the picture of a Ukrainian hero in full combat gear standing defiantly on a Russian flag. That, and an armored infantry unit posing for the camera.

The cockroach army never had the type of structure that allows smaller units to operate individually. When a local command system gets disturbed in a serious way, things will happen rather quickly, causing the affected sector to collapse. This is why UA forces have not only destroyed ammo and fuel depots, but also command posts. Add to this the very low morale in the first place, and the overall disaster is complete.
