On the night of October 29, strike drones attacked Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea. The operation resulted in the destruction of a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile and gun complex, two oil depots, and two radar stations.
The operation on the peninsula was carried out by drones of the Security Service. This was reported to OBOZ.UA by informed sources in the SBU.
Results of the strike on Crimea
Sources in the Security Service of Ukraine have confirmed that the night hunt in Crimea was successful. Strike drones of the Central Military District “A” of the SBU attacked Russian military and infrastructure facilities on the peninsula.
After a noisy night, the Russians missed the Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile system worth about $20 million. It is one of the key links in the enemy’s air defense. The enemy also lost two radars. Each such destroyed or disabled air defense system significantly weakens Russia’s defense in the Crimean direction.
In addition, drones of the Central Operational Group “A” of the SBU attacked an oil depot in the village of Gvardiyske, where fuel was stored. A large-scale fire broke out at the facility, a huge column of black smoke rises. A drone was also recorded flying over the Komsomolskaya oil depot.
“The SBU continues its systematic work to destroy air defense systems that cover Crimea and oil depots that supply the enemy with fuel. Each such special operation reduces the military and logistical potential of the Russians. “Cotton” will continue to burn,” an informed source in the SBU noted.
Recall that in Russia, cases of “sudden” fires of railway infrastructure have recently become more frequent. Relay cabinets and electrical panels are actively burning on the territory of the aggressor country. Mostly, the infrastructure involved in ensuring aggression against Ukraine is burning.
As OBOZ.UA reported, in temporarily occupied Crimea, drones of the special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) “Pryzraky” destroyed three Russian radar stations and a landing craft. Despite the work of Russian air defense, the Ukrainian drones successfully completed their combat mission.
