In Belarus, there was no official statement about the poisoning of the dictator’s bodyguard.

A security detail for Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, who was likely poisoned during a visit to the Russian city of St. Petersburg in January, has died.

This information was confirmed by two sources from the circle of the leader of Belarus, writes “Kremlin snuffbox” on Telegram. According to the channel, during Lukashenko’s visit to St. Petersburg, one of his guards became ill and was urgently sent to Minsk. In the Belarusian capital, a security guard was allegedly diagnosed with heavy metal poisoning – thallium.

“Belarus has not made official statements on this matter. The reaction of Lukashenko himself is still unknown,” the channel emphasizes.

Let us remind you that on January 27 it became known that Alexander Lukashenko went to Russia. On the 28th, the leader of the Belarusians met with dictator Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.

The leader of Belarus also said that “American intelligence services” were involved in organizing the crime. According to him, the suspects were “detained in Moscow.” Later, the US State Department denied Lukashenko’s alleged involvement of the American side in preparing an “attempt” on him and his children. 

Thallium is highly toxic, its lethal dose is 0.4 g. Thallium compounds are also very dangerous.
