This amount is added to the 150 million euros already allocated earlier.

The Netherlands allocates an additional 300 million euros for the purchase of ammunition for F-16 aircraft , which the country will soon deliver to Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands with reference to the statement of Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans at the NATO summit in Washington.

It is noted that this amount is added to the 150 million euros already allocated earlier for these purposes. We are talking about weapons for the F-16, which is purchased directly from the industry.

“Ukrainians must not only be able to fly the F-16. Armament is of crucial importance. With the help of the ammunition we have purchased, the F-16 will be able to repel Russian attacks,” the minister said.

He emphasized that Russia’s aggression knows no borders, so support for Ukraine must “continue at full speed.”

“By buying additional ammunition for the F-16, we want to make it clear to Moscow that NATO allies will continue to provide unwavering support to Ukraine. Russia must not win this war, and it is also in the interests of our security.”
