It is not yet clear how long production and delivery will take.

The Netherlands, together with Sweden and Denmark, will produce the Swedish Stridsfordon 90 (CV90) infantry fighting vehicles for the needs of Ukraine. As reported by the BBC , for this, the Netherlands and Denmark will create a special fund, to which they will contribute 400 million euros.

So far, it is planned to produce 230 cars. Most of them in the Netherlands – 180 units.

At the same time, the Dutch authorities announced plans to increase the production of military equipment for their own needs.

“European production capacity must be increased for Ukraine, but also for ourselves. Our armed forces must be ready for battle,” said the head of the country’s Ministry of Defense Kaisu Ollongren.

  1. Outstanding! Although those vehicles might come a bit late, it’s the thought that counts, right?

  2. To strengthen Ukraine’s fleet of armored vehicles, in quantity and quality, is a good step forward towards victory. Russia, on the other hand, is facing the dilemma of a dwindling reserve of old APCs and more and more golfcarts and motorbikes as substitutes. Advantage Ukraine!
