The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that the most modern fighter jet of Moscow Su-57 was hit for the first time .

As noted in the message on the intelligence website, on June 8, a Su-57 multi-purpose fighter of the aggressor state was hit on the territory of the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region of Russia, located 589 kilometers from the combat line.

“The pictures show that on June 7th, the Su-57 was standing intact, and on the eighth, there were ruptures from the explosion and characteristic spots of fire caused by fire damage near it,” the report says.

Intelligence noted that the Su-57 is Moscow’s most modern fighter, which can be used to attack the Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles.

“There are a few units of such combat aircraft in service with the Russian Air and Space Forces. The Su-57 attack is the first such case in history,” the GUR emphasized.
