Using innovative approaches, including FPV drones, the Scorpion unit performs combat missions in the Volchansky direction. The drones operate day and night, in all weather conditions, using modern technologies to detect and defeat the enemy.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, focusing on the implementation of the latest approaches in the fight against the aggressor. Thanks to high-precision drones, even at night, the enemy has no chance to hide.
One of the operators, a border guard with the call sign “Little”, demonstrates an FPV drone with a thermal imaging camera, the diagonal of which is 7 inches.
“The camera itself in this thermal imaging drone costs about 30 thousand hryvnias, and it’s just a camera,” the military officer notes.

However, this technique is able to see the enemy even in complete darkness, which gives a huge advantage on the battlefield.

A former artilleryman and current FPV drone operator with the call sign “Sutik” tells how they constantly improve their skills:
“It’s more interesting to work with microcontrol, to go into cover – this allows you to more accurately detect the enemy with less risk. Thanks to constant training and practice, they reduce the likelihood of errors.”

Night work also requires high precision. Operator “Jack”, who works with a thermal imaging camera, explains:
“Thermal imaging allows you to see anything that emits heat, highlighting both enemy equipment and infantry.”
At the same time, he adds that sometimes you have to fly closer to accurately determine the target, so as not to confuse the enemy with animals.
Another operator, “Kramakha” , works with daytime drones, conducting reconnaissance on enemy positions. He is well acquainted with the terrain and often encounters enemy fire:
“If the enemy starts shooting at our drones, it signals a threat, and we immediately adjust our fire to those targets.”
With the help of such high-tech drones, the unit monitors the territory and neutralizes threats even in the most difficult conditions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in performing tasks.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian defenders continue to give a worthy rebuff to the enemy along the entire front line. This time, our border guards destroyed a significant amount of Russian equipment and hit a drone control point in the Kharkiv region.
Recall that UAV operators of the Defense Forces destroyed field warehouses, armored vehicles, trucks of the Russian army and dozens of occupiers in the Donetsk region. The damage was inflicted by drones, and the successful operation was preceded by effective reconnaissance.

Who would’ve ever thought at the start of this war that it would be drones to kill the most roaches and their equipment?
