The “Proton” plant, which was hit by a Ukrainian missile strike, was an important part of Russia’s military-industrial complex. Today, it appears to have ceased to exist.

The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the attack. Experts believe the strike was carried out either by British Storm Shadow missiles or Ukrainian “Flamingo” missiles. The moment the factory was hit was captured on video. Judging by the footage, at least four missiles successfully hit their target. The destruction is massive.

The governor of the Oryol Region confirmed the attack but claims that the target was a “civilian facility.” He even accused the Ukrainian side of “particular cynicism” for carrying out this strike.

In reality, “Proton” was part of Russia’s military-industrial complex. Russian authorities and media have openly discussed this. The plant is subject to sanctions from the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and other countries for its involvement in the aggression.

  1. The plant was struck at least four times. From the looks of the image, it won’t be producing anything anymore. I hope many cockroaches in there were also wasted.

Unlike Ukrainian hospitals, markets and churches.

    • A civilian facility that makes essential components for weapons that slaughter civilian women and children.
