Russia has lost more than $10 billion worth of equipment during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine .
This was reported in the Ministry of Defense , having made public a selection of the most expensive equipment of the occupier destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
“Thanks to the well-coordinated interaction of troops and forces, a large amount of Russian equipment is being destroyed, which the enemy has already lost in the amount of more than $10 billion,” the report says.
It is noted that the Ukrainian military demonstrates a creative approach and skillful tactical skills, combining light infantry with anti-tank weapons, drones with artillery, automated control systems with air defense systems.
So, the defenders managed to destroy:
- tank T-90 M “Vladimir” worth up to $ 3,00,000. These were used in Syria and the second war in Karabakh
- “Shell S-1”, designed to cover objects. This one was burned in Bashtanka, and three copies were seized and handed over to Ukrainian specialists
- combat helicopter Ka-52 for reconnaissance and coordination, can hit equipment and manpower. This helicopter was shot down on February 24 over Mezhyhirya, another one – on March 2 in the Buchansky district, on March 12 – near Skadovsk, on March 16 – near Nikolaev, on March 19 two at once over the Kiev region (with Stinger) and over the Zaporozhye region
- Il-76 aircraft for paratroopers and cargo
- two Su-35S were destroyed in the Kiev region (missiles), one – on March 4 – in Chernigov (with Igla-1 MANPADS)
- Iskander-M carrying ballistic missiles. Probably, it was they who at the beginning of the invasion on February 24 were beaten at our airfields. On March 10, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Iskander-M division with four installations and 8 ballistic missiles
- large landing ship “Saratov”, which can carry up to 1000 tons of equipment. Participated in the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Georgia. In March, he entered the port of Berdyansk, from which he could no longer leave.
