Anita Anand, Minister of National Defense of Canada, arrived in Kiev this afternoon.
The visit will last two days, tomorrow there will be a meeting with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.
Recall that a few days ago, the Canadian government decided to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance worth $340 million and expand its country’s training mission to 400 people by 2025.
It should be noted that around 12:30 a Boeing C-17A arrived in Lviv with Canadian military assistance. This is the first aircraft from Canada with military supplies to support the Ukrainian army.
