At the “Shirokiy Lan” training ground in the Nikolaev region, instructor-methodological sessions were held using the Javelin anti-tank missile systems and the Bayraktar reconnaissance and strike systems.

It is noted that instructor-methodological sessions were held at the training ground of the Interspecies Training Center for military units and subunits “Shirokiy Lan” as part of summing up the results of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2021.
The event took place in the presence of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
“We have acquired and received from partners high-tech weapons as material and technical assistance, which significantly increased the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These are, in particular, the Bayraktar reconnaissance and strike systems and the Javelin anti-tank missile systems. conducting the Joint Forces operation, we worked out new tactics of their use in combat conditions and demonstrated them to the commanders of brigades and regiments. We also showed their integrated use in the conditions of night and poor visibility, “said Lieutenant General Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the goal of instructor-methodological classes is to develop common views on the organization and conduct of training events for troops (forces) in the 2022 academic year, taking into account foreign experience and the experience gained by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the east. Bayraktars and Javelins are great. They are proven in battle. Ukraine needs thousands, not hundreds, of both, for starters. Plus, a modern SAM system is essential.
Btw, Nikolaev? Why are they still using that Russian name? Surely it’s Kyiv, not Kiev, Kharkiv not Kharkov, Lviv not Lvov, Mykolaiv not Nikolaev etc etc?

Tank buster weapons are essential for Ukraine. It should be a top priority, seeing the immense number of tanks that mafia land still has. It has no real ground attack aircraft with anywhere near the A-10’s capabilities and so AA systems should take the back burner position. Pulverizing armored units is the key to a successful defense.
