Drones were spotted circling in Moscow on Sunday, May 17. The apparent target strike resulted in a massive fire near a large overpass after reports of an explosion. A thick column of black smoke rose above the scene of the incident, and traffic on the overpass had to be completely shut down in both directions.
The fire was probably caused by a Ukrainian drone attack, the circumstances are being established. Russian media reported on the traffic jam and the fire.
The fire broke out in a construction waste dump under the bridge, then spread to a warehouse of building materials. According to Russian public sources, the area of the fire has grown to 310 square meters.
Footage released showed massive flames and thick black smoke rising high above the area. The heavy smoke caused a major traffic jam on the overpass, with fire and emergency services arriving at the scene.
High-rise residential buildings, power lines, and construction sites are also visible in the background of the fire. There is no information about casualties at this time.
Despite reports of a drone attack and an explosion before the fire, there is currently no official confirmation that the fire was connected to the drone strikes.
As of 18:21 in Moscow, a large-scale fire broke out at a construction site on Amurskaya Street – building materials burned, and thick smoke covered the area for hundreds of meters. The fire blocked traffic on the South-West Highway, and the overpass collapsed after the fire and will probably be temporarily out of service.
We remind you that the citizens of the terrorist country of Russia, who have been rejoicing over the killings of civilians in Ukraine and missile strikes on high-rise buildings for the fifth year in a row, suddenly wondered why the war had returned to where it came from.

Muscovites complain of loud explosions and extensive destruction after the night attack on May 17.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine responded to the attack on Moscow and the Moscow region with drones. The department noted that this was the largest attack on Moscow and the region during the full-scale invasion.

How would you like to be that fuel truck driver going through that stuff, lol…
