As a result of an enemy ballistic strike on Kyiv, a market in the Obolonskyi district is on fire. The fire is currently localized to an area of 2,000 sq. m.
This was reported by Pavlo Petrov, spokesman for the State Emergency Service of Kyiv, Censor.NET reports .
Social media is reporting that the Russian Federation attacked the book market on Pochaina Street.
The State Emergency Service clarified that rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the night shelling of the capital in the Obolonsky and Holosiivskyi districts.
What preceded it?
- As reported, at night the enemy struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles: two injured, destruction and a large-scale fire in the market in the Obolon district.
- Russian troops also carried out a combined strike on two enterprises in Kryvyi Rih: one person was killed and more than 10 were injured.
- On the morning of August 16, the Kyiv region was attacked by drones, there was a threat to Kyiv. Air defense forces were working.
