A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrey Yusov, said what is known about the causes and consequences of the fire that occurred on the night of February 24 at a metallurgical plant in Lipetsk, Russia .

“This is what sources say. We will not confirm or deny this. But there was Russian production, which is directly involved in the military-industrial complex, directing steel to the production of guns, armor and missiles, which are used to kill Ukrainians. That is, this is military an enterprise that is involved in the enemy’s military-industrial cycle of production and support for their aggressor army,” a Ukrainian intelligence representative emphasized during the telethon.

According to him, it is logical that “such excesses occur at this enterprise, something flies there and something falls.

“They say that these were Ukrainian-made drones. They say that this was a joint operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region and the SBU. We can neither confirm nor deny. But we can confirm the fact itself that yes, this enterprise will now be withdrawn from the country for a long time building,” Yusov emphasized.

At the same time, the intelligence representative noted that the “roar and chaos” on the territory of the aggressor state will continue.

“At all facilities that are involved in supporting the genocidal war against Ukrainians, there will also be a continuation,” stated Andrei Yusov.

Impact on the metallurgical plant in Lipetsk

On the night of February 24, residents of Russian Lipetsk  heard the sounds of explosions in the city and saw smoke in the area of ​​the metallurgical plant.

As UNIAN learned from its own sources, drones hit Russia’s largest steel mill in Lipetsk. It was noted that this drone strike was organized by two Ukrainian special services at once – the SBU and the GUR.
