It was a “fun” night at the airfields of Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleyka and Borysoglibsk.

On the night of August 14, long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Forces carried out the largest attack of the entire war on Russian military airfields. This is reported by informed sources of UNIAN.

As a result, it was a “fun” night at the airfields of Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleyka and Borysoglibsk.

According to the sources, this was a specially planned operation so that the Russian troops could not use these airfields for KAB strikes on the front line and Ukrainian cities. 

It is noted that according to the information of Russian military commanders in social networks, the strike was effective because the anti-aircraft defense could not protect these objects. We are talking about 10 explosions only in Savasleyka, from where MiGs regularly take off.

An informed source in the SBU reported that the special service of Ukraine continues to methodically weaken the aviation component of the Russian military machine.

“For now, it is the planes that give the enemy an advantage in the air, but we will continue to clip the wings of these ‘birds’,” it said.
