The Legion of Freedom of Russia considers the current Putin government an occupation regime.
The liberation of Russia from the Putin regime can occur in stages – “piece by piece”, starting, for example, with the Kursk region. Alexey Baranovsky, a volunteer of the Russian Freedom Legion, stated this in an interview with Channel 24 .
“Such a development of events is not excluded. Perhaps this is not a question of today, but in the future very serious revolutionary processes will begin on the territory of Russia, as a result of which the regions will gain freedom. Perhaps not all at once, but in parts – for sure,” he said , answering a humorous question about the imminent proclamation of an independent “Kursk People’s Republic”.
Baranovsky noted that now the current regime in Russia can well be considered occupational, because Vladimir Putin has long usurped state power, and in 2020 he also carried out a constitutional coup to formalize his lifelong stay on the “throne.”
At the same time, the volunteer noted that the Russian army, even on its own territory, behaves in the same way as in Ukraine – like an occupier.
“They think that we are on a certain street, they start shooting there with all types of equipment. However, we have not been there for a long time, and the residential buildings of ordinary citizens are under attack. The Putinists don’t care about this, they are used to acting in the same way in Ukraine. Russia – internal occupation,” says Baranovsky.

Splendid strategy.
Yeah, their goal is more splendid than their means to achieve it, but their timing is excellent. So, lotsa respect for those brave volunteers who put their lifes at stake to show other Russians that resistance against Putin’s tyranny is possible!
